Kodansha’s Dessert magazine has announced that the Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshi-domo (Fall in Love, You False Angels/恋せよまやかし天使ども ) manga by Uzuki Coco will enter a hiatus due to the author’s health. The manga is set to return in November 2026.
Uzuki started the manga in April 2023 in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine, and Kodansha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2023. The manga’s seventh volume was released in June 2026. The manga won the Shoujo category in the Kodansha Manga Awards in 2025 and earned a nomination for the Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2025.
Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English under the name Fall in Love, You False Angels, and it released the manga’s fifth volume in print in June 2026. Kodansha USA describes the manga story below:
“All sugar, no spice, and everything nice…that’s the impression the beautiful first-year high schooler and class president Otogi gives to those around her. One look from the school’s “heartthrob angel” is all it takes to sweep countless admirers off their feet. But the real Otogi Katsura is no angel: She’s calculating, ruthless, and sharp-tongued. It was announced in June 2026 that the manga will get a TV anime adaptation in 2027 by animation studio MAPPA.
