Kadokawa confirmed this week that the manga Hime Kishi wa Barbaroi no Yome (The Barbarian’s Bride) by Kotoba Noriaki has been green-lit for a TV anime in 2025. A teaser video and teaser visual have been released for the anime, and manga creator Kotoba has drawn an illustration to celebrate the anime’s announcement.

Kotoba started the ongoing manga in January 2021 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2021. The manga’s seventh volume was released in February 2024, and the eighth volume will be published on October 8th, 2024.
