A trailer posted on October 11th has confirmed that the 3D brawler video game adaptation of Shounen Jump hit series Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, developed by Byking and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, has been slated for a February 2, 2024 release for PC, PS4/5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, shortly after the conclusion second season of the anime currently ongoing. The Japanese version of the game will be released one day earlier, on February 1st.

The game is currently available for preorders for all consoles except Nintendo Switch, with a $59.99 standard edition, a $79.99 deluxe edition (which includes a pass for future DLC “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” and a “Jujusta 2024 Baseball” minigame) and a $99.99 ultimate edition (which further includes a digital artbook, soundtrack, and a DLC outfit set based on the anime’s first ending animation). Additionally, a $79.99 physical collector’s edition has been posted to the Bandai Namco store, which includes an exclusive 12×22-inch wall scroll illustrated by the manga author, Akutami Gege. All pre-orders will also include a DLC outfit set as a bonus.

Currently the second video game adaptation of the series (after the mobile game Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade), Cursed Clash was first officially announced at the 2023 Bandai Namco Summer Showcase on July 1. The game will be a faithful adaptation of the plotline covered by the first anime season and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie and will include over 15 playable characters and 2v2 gameplay, with players being able to play both in co-op and competition mode online, as well as being able to customize characters’ appearance.
