The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Torai Sigma’s Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajuu! (その警察官、ときどき野獣！) Adult Manga has announced this week that the anime’s production has been cancelled. The anime was scheduled for release in 2025, with Miura Saburou as the director at Rabbit Gate studios.

Torai (Omiai Aite wa Oshiego, Tsuyoki na, Mondaiji.) started the manga in December 2019 in Ichijinsha’s Comic CMOA, and Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2020. The manga’s 10th volume was released in April 2025.
The manga story follows Hiyori, an ordinary office worker living in a peaceful town, until one day she is involved in an accident and breaks her arm. Kumano, a police officer who happens to be there, feels responsible and decides to move in with Hiyori to support her. Kumano has always been a reliable and trustworthy police officer, but… suddenly faced with temptation, will this honest and capable officer lose control and go on a rampage? The start of a cohabitation “sexual” life between a carnivorous police officer and a timid, ordinary office lady!
