Staff for the Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei (Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods/ 神の庭付き楠木邸) TV anime have released the anime’s third promotional video and a new visual.

The show is scheduled to premiere on April 4th, 2026, on the TV Asahi channel at 1:30 a.m. (effectively on April 5th). The anime will also air on BS Asahi from April 6th.
Sekino Sekijuu is directing the anime at JUVENAGE studio, and the anime will star:

- Koichi Makoto as Utsugi

The anime is based on Kusunoki Enju’s Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei light novel series. Author Enji started the story in April 2021 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Kadokawa published the first novel with illustrations by Ox (Ikinokori Renkinjutsushi wa Machi de Shizuka ni Karashitai) in November 2021. The 11th novel in the series was released in November 2025, and the 12th novel is scheduled for release on April 17th, 2026.
The novel series was also adapted into a manga by Anzai Akira in November 2021 in Kadokawa’s ComicWalker. Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2022 and the fifth volume in December 2025.
Yen Press publishes the novel series in English under the name Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods, and it will release the fourth novel on June 9th, 2026. Yen Press describes the story below:
“Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki is left in charge of a terrifying house overflowing with evil spirits—or at least it was, until his extraordinary ability cleared them all out! Instead, a procession of unique and peculiar gods is drawn to the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence, and Minato spends his days relaxing in the company of his spiritual neighbours. What else lies in store for Minato as he lives peacefully surrounded by gods?”
