Square Enix’s Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine has confirmed that Asakura Ryousuke’s Anastasia no Ikita 9-kakan (The Last 9 Days of Anastasia/ アナスタシアの生きた９日間 ) manga will end in the magazine’s October 2025 issue, available for sale from September 12th, 2025.
Manga author Asakura (Shikizaki Shimai wa Abakaretai, Ikusa x Koi) started the manga in February 2024 in Square Enix’s Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine, and Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2024. The manga’s second volume was released in February 2025.
The manga story is set in a world where the Light God Religion and the Dark God Religion are engaged in a thousand-year war. The outnumbered Light God Religion finally succeeds in summoning the Hero of Light, but a cruel future is presented to them. It is prophesied that the Hero of Light will be killed in nine days…
