The official website for the Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!? (Tamon’s B-Side/ 多聞くん今どっち!?) anime has revealed the anime’s new promotional trailer, which previews the Supernova song by the in-story idol group F/ace. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.

Nagaoka Chika is directing the anime at J.C. Staff, and the anime will star:
- Hayami Saori as Utage Kinoshita
- Hatano Kakeru as Tamon Fukuhara
- Chiba Shouya as Ouri Sakaguchi
- Hatanaka Tasuku as Keito Ishibashi
- Nagaoka Ryuuho as Rintarou Kai
- Mizunaka Masaaki as Wataru Jujita
- Honda Takako as Izumi Shiraishi
- Fukuzumi Saya as Yuina
- Hirayama Yurika as Riko
The anime is based on Shiwasu Yuki’s Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!? manga. Manga author Shiwasu started the manga in October 2021 in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine, and Hakusensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2022. The manga’s 12th volume is scheduled for release on October 20th, 2025.
Viz Media releases the manga in English under the name Tamon’s B-Side, and it will release the manga’s ninth volume on October 7th, 2025. Viz Media describes the manga below:
“Tamon is an insecure mess in real life, and what’s worse, he’s threatening to quit! Utage refuses to let anyone stand in Tamon’s way—least of all himself. What’s a fangirl to do but roll up her sleeves and support her favourite singer with everything she’s got?”
Matsumo Uzu started a manga spinoff titled Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!? F/ACE Off Stage!, on July 26th, 2025, in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume Numa magazine.
