Kadokawa has confirmed that the Yowaki MAX Reijou nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta (Even Though I’m a Super Timid Noblewoman, I Accepted a Bet From My Cunning Fiancé/ 弱気MAX令嬢なのに、辣腕婚約者様の賭けに乗ってしまった) light novel series by Oda Hiro has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation.
A teaser video and visual have been released for the anime, and staff for the anime have revealed that Itou Miku will star as Pia Rockwell and Ousaka Ryouta as Rufus Stan

In addition, Tsubasa.v, the illustrator for the novel series, and Murata Aji, the artist for the manga adaptation, have each drawn an illustration in celebration of the news.


Author Oda (Tensei Reijou wa Boukensha wo Kokorozasu) started the story in January 2020 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Kadokawa published the first novel with illustrations by Tsubasa.v in August 2020. The series’s seventh novel was released in April 2024, and Oda has since posted extra story content on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Murata in February 2021 on Kadokawa’s Comic Walker website, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2021. The manga’s fourth volume was released in January 2024.
The story depicts the love story between the protagonist, who is reincarnated as Pia, a mob character who plays the villainous young lady in a girls’ game, and her fiancé, Lord Rufus. Knowing from her previous life that she will be sentenced to banishment and have her engagement annulled at the end of the game, Pia offers to break off the engagement herself to Rufus, saying. However, this instead ignites Rufus’ pride, and he makes a bet with her.
