Chillin’ in Another World With Level 2 Super Cheat Powers started as a web novel by Miya Kinojo in 2016 before being adapted into a light novel, illustrated by artist Katagiri, between 2016 and 2019. The light novel is still in publication, with 15 volumes so far. The anime will be directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Love Hina, Bottle Fairy), with Hino Satoshi (Rengoku in Kimetsu no Yaiba, Momonga in the Overlord franchise) voicing Flio and Kugimiya Rie (Taiga in Toradora!, Alphonse in Hagane no Renkinjutsushi, Kagura in Gintama) voicing Fenrys.
Follow Flio as he is summoned to the Magical Kingdom of Klyrode as a potential hero to fight against an army of powerful demons. Unfortunately for Flio, he is rejected due to his lack of fighting skills, magic and low stats. To top it all off, he is unable to return home! This all changes when he finds himself with super cheat powers after he achieves level two.
