Staff for the Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume (A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation/ 穏やか貴族の休暇のすすめ。) TV anime have revealed the main promotional video and confirmed that the show will premiere on January 7th, 2026, on the TV Tokyo channel.

The anime will be streamed in Japan on Fuji TV on Demand from January 7th, and the anime will also air on the BS TV Tokyo and AT-X channels from January 8th. The anime series will be streamed by Crunchyroll in the West.
Noda Kenta is directing the anime at Synergy SP studio in collaboration with Ascension studio, and the anime will star:
- Saitou Souma as Lizel
- Umehara Yuuchirou as Gil
- Kakihara Tetsuya as Eleven
- Fukuyama Jun as Studd
- Yamashita Daiki as Judge
- Toriumi Kousuke as Rei
- Yasumoto Hiroki as Shadow
- Hamada Kenji as Insy
The anime is based on the Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume light novel series written by Misaki and illustrated by Sando (Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku).
Author Misaki began the story in January 2014 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and TO Books published the first novel in June 2018, featuring illustrations by Sando. The series’s 20th novel was released in April 2025.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Momochi in December 2018, and TO Books published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019. The 13th volume was published in October 2025, and the 14th volume is scheduled for release on January 10th, 2026.
Tokyopop is releasing the manga in English under the title A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation, and it published the manga’s 10th volume in January 2025. Tokyopop describes the story below:
“When Lizel finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn’t, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn’t the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place, and to help him do so, he hires Gil, a seasoned adventurer, as his tour guide and protector.
Until he’s able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life, adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he’s sure he’ll go home eventually, so he might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now!”
