Staff for the Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu (A Tale of the Secret Saint/ 転生した大聖女は、聖女であることをひた隠す) TV anime has confirmed that the anime will be delayed from April 2026 to October 2026, in order to provide a more enjoyable work for everyone.

Makino Tomoe is directing the anime at Felix Film, and the anime will star:
- Wakayama Shion as Fia Ruud
- Tokudome Shinnosuke as Zavilia
- Umehara Yuuchirou as Saviz Nav
- Shimazaki Nobunaga as Cyril Sutherland
- Hatanaka Tasuku as Desmond Ronan

The anime is based on the Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu light novel series by author Touya and illustrator chibi.
Touya started the ongoing story in January 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Earth Star Entertainment published the first novel with illustrations by chibi in June 2019. The 12th novel in the series was released on January 15th, 2026.
The novels were also adapted into a manga by Aobe Mahito in November 2019 in Comic Earth Star. Earth Star Entertainment published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2020, and the 13th volume in October 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the novel series and manga adaptation in English under the name A Tale of the Secret Saint. It will release the tenth novel on May 19th, 2026, and the 11th manga volume on May 5th, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the novel story below:
“Born into a long line of knights, Fia is determined to become a knight herself, just like all her siblings. Touya and chibi also created a prequel novel series titled Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu: ZERO (転生した大聖女は、聖女であることをひた隠す ZERO ), and there are currently six novels in the series. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the novel series in English under the name A Tale of the Secret Saint ZERO.
The prequel series was adapted into a manga, titled Tensei Shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu: ZERO -The Great Saint of Remembrance- by artist Shiina, and there are currently four volumes.
