Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream the Romelia Senki: Maou o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabasou Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita (Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force) anime, which will debut this year.

Crunchyroll confirms that it will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS, and it describes the anime story below:
” Romelia and her party succeed in defeating the Demon King Zelgis, though Prince Henri’s reckless charge forces them into a grueling battle. In the aftermath, Romelia is branded “dead weight” for not fighting directly, and the Prince unilaterally breaks off their engagement. Denied a place in the victory celebrations, Romelia returns home, only to be met with cold indifference from her family and society. Yet, she refuses to break. She has already set her sights on the path that lies ahead.”
Shirai Hiroshi is directing the anime at Atra studio, and the anime will star:

The anime is based on the Romelia Senki: Maou o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabasou Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita ( ロメリア戦記 ～魔王を倒した後も人類やばそうだから軍隊組織した～ ) light novel series by Ariyama Ryou.
Author Ariyama started the original story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2019, and Shogakukan published the first novel with illustrations by Kodama in June 2020. Kamito Ryou illustrated subsequent novels, and Shogakukan released the sixth and final volume in November 2025.
The novel series has also been adapted into a manga by Kamito in April 2021 on Mag Garden’s Manga Doa, which moved to Mag Garden’s Mag Comi Platform in January 2021. Mag Garden published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2021, and the manga’s fifth volume was released in November 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment will release the manga adaptation in English under the title Romelia War Chronicle: The Count’s Daughter Rallies an Army in the Wake of Mankind’s Victory. The manga’s third volume is scheduled for release on August 11th, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga story below:
