Manga creator Yoshikawa (Kakkou no Iinazuke, Yamadakun to Nananin no Majo) started the manga in October 2021 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2022. The manga’s sixth volume was released in November 2025, and the seventh volume is scheduled for release on December 16th, 2026.
Kodansha’s K MANGA service releases the manga chapters in English under the name Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires, and it describes the story below:
“Every family has its own “secrets”… Meet our protagonist, Shota Minamoto, a junior-high student who also happens to be an orphan in a children’s home. One day, he was adopted by a family living in a luxurious, Japanese-style estate. Welcomed warmly by them all, Shota started letting his guard down, but this family had a “secret” that the world could never know. A new work from the creator of “The Cuckoo’s Fiance” showcasing a different kind of “family.” Thus begins a cozy, bloody love comedy!”
