Staff for the Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Itanode, Kokuhaku Shite Mita (There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her/ 勇者パーティーにかわいい子がいたので、告白してみた。) TV anime have announced that the show has been green-lit for a second season.

The anime’s first season premiered on January 6th, 2026, and it was directed by Mine Tomonori at Gekko studios. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide, not including Asia, and it describes the anime story below:
“Reincarnated as a mid-tier demon, Youki had one job: Crush the hero’s party. Then he saw the party’s priestess, Cecilia, and fell for her hard. Now this lovestruck demon vows to confess his feelings, even if it means betraying the Demon King. Will love bloom between these two sworn enemies?”
The anime is based on Kairi’s manga adaptation of the Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Itanode, Kokuhaku Shite Mita light novel series by Suisei.
Author Suisue started the original story in July 2013 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Futabasha published the first novel with illustrations by La-na in October 2014. The third novel was released in August 2015.
The novels were adapted into a manga by Kairi in January 2021 on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website, and Futabasha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2021. The manga’s 14th volume was released in July 2026.
