The second promotional video for the original TV anime Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku? (Where Does the Doomsday Train Go?) has been released by Kadokawa. The video confirms that the anime will premiere in April 2024, and it previews the opening theme song, GA-TAN GO-TON, by Nakashima Rei.

Mizushima Tsutomu (Girls und Panzer, Shirobako) directs the anime at EMT Squared studio. The anime will star Waki Azumi as Nadeshiko Hoshi, nicknamed Nadeko, Kuon Erisa as Reimi Kuga, Kino Hina as Akira Shinonome, and Anzai Chika as Shizuru Chikura.
In a not-so-ordinary countryside town, where a significant and strange occurrence is happening to its residents, a young girl named Shizuru Chikura strongly desires to see her lost friend again. Shizuru and three other girls board an abandoned train and set out to the outside world, where survival is not certain. What awaits them at the last stop of the “Doomsday Train?”
