Happinet released the main promotional video for the Acro Trip TV anime this week, and the company has confirmed that the anime will premiere in October 2024.

Kotake Ayumu is directing the anime at Voil studio, and the anime will star Itou Miku as Chizuko Date, Shimazaki Nobunaga as Chrome, Minase Inori as Berry Blossom, Kaju Noichigo and Kawanishi Kengo as Mashirou.
The anime is based on the manga by Sawata Yone, which ran from February 2017 to December 2022 in Shueisha’s Ribon magazine. Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2018 and the fifth and final volume in January 2023.
Chizuko Date is an otaku girl who lives in Niigata Prefecture and is obsessed with Berry Blossom, the magical girl who protects the city. However, Chroma — the leader of the local evil organization Fossa Magna — is inept and weak, so hardly anyone else cares about Berry Blossom and Chroma’s frequent battles anymore. Chizuko vows to shine a light on the magical girl’s exploits — and this fervent desire takes this seemingly shy middle school girl down a dark path filled with strange folks.
