The light novel series Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party o Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita (Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside) by Zappon and Yasumo will end with its 15th novel. The news was confirmed with the release of the series’s 14th novel on May 1st, 2024.
Zappon began the story in October 2017 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Kadokawa released the first novel in July 2018, with illustrations by Yasumo (Isekai Nonbiri Nouka).

A TV anime adaptation inspired by the novel series aired in 2021, and the anime’s second season premiered in January 2024. Both seasons are available on Crunchyroll.
