Kadokawa released a new promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Ishizaka Kenta’s Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey manga alongside a teaser visual and confirmation that the anime will premiere in 2025.

Watanabe Masaharu (Wakaba Girl, Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Granbelm) is directing the anime at Makaria studios, and the anime will star Tsukishiro Hika as Chika Suzugamori, the protagonist of the story.
Ishizaka started the ongoing manga in March 2019 in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine. Kadokawa released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2019 and the latest volume, number ten, in December 2023. In November 2023, the manga inspired a spinoff manga by Meidosuke. The manga Zatsu Tabi – Another Side View- Hasunuma Koyomi no Nichijō (The Daily Life of Koyomi Hasunuma) is also serialized in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine.
The story follows Chika Suzugamori, a rookie manga artist who is rejected every time she submits a new draft. On the verge of giving up, she suddenly gets the idea of going on a journey. A journey that heals because it’s rough – the ultimate travel comic!
