The Official website for the Elf-san wa Yaserarenai (Plus-Sized Elf) TV anime has revealed a new visual and confirmed that the anime will premiere on July 6th, 2024, on the TOKYO MX and BS11 Channels.
Tokoro Toshikatsu (Why the Hell Are You Here, Teacher!?, Soul Link, Hunter X Hunter: G I Final) directs the anime at studio Elias. The show will star Itou Ayasa as Elfuda, Ishii Takahide as Tomoatsu Naoe, Hasegawa Rena as Kuroeda, and Fukuhara Ayaka as Oga.

The anime is based on Synecdoche’s Elf-san wa Yaserarenai manga, first published on Wani Book’s Comic Gum website in December 2016. In November 2021, Akita Shoten published the manga’s eighth tankoubon volume, and in June 2022, the company began re-releasing the first seven volumes of the original manga.
