Nikumaru’s Bad Girl manga has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation. The news was confirmed via the show’s new official website, which also released a teaser visual for the anime and confirmed that Furuta Takeshi will be directing the show at the Bridge studio.
Manga artist Nikumaru (Aitsu no Kanojo) started the manga in December 2020 in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat, and Houbunsha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2022. The manga’s fourth volume will be published on July 25th, 2024.
The manga is a school comedy that follows Yuu Yutani, a first-year high school student who is a good girl. However, to attract the attention of the school’s disciplinary committee chairman and Madonna, Atori Mizutori, she begins to act like a delinquent.
