TO Books confirmed this week that Yashiro’s Shiro Buta Kizoku desu ga Zense no Kioku ga Haeta node Hiyoko na Otouto Sodatemasu light novel series will be adapted into a TV anime.

Yashiro started the ongoing story in August 2018 on the Shousetsuka no Narou website, and TO Books published the first novel in January 2020 with illustrations by Keepout (Isekai Yakkyoku, Chichi wa Eiyuu, Haha wa Seirei, Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha). The latest novel, number 12th, will be released on July 20th, 2024.

The novels were also adapted into a manga by Yokowake in September 2020 on TO Book’s Comic Corona manga website. The manga’s first tankoubon volume was released in March 2021, and the fifth volume in February 2024.
