Manga author Tobirano confirmed this week that their Zutaboro Reijou wa Ane no Moto Konyakusha ni Dekiai Sareru light novels have been green-lit for a TV anime in 2025.

Tobirano started the story in October 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Futabasha published the first novel with illustrations by Murasaki Mai (Akuyaku Reijou Nanode Last Boss o Katte Mimashita) in April 2020. The most recent novel, number seven, was released in May 2024.
Nakagura Chikage has adapted the novel series into a manga. The manga began in July 2020 on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website, and Futabasha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2021 and the seventh volume in April 2024. The manga is also published in English under the title Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex on Comico’s Pocket Comics website.
