A new promotional visual and video was released this week for the TV anime Guild no Uketsuke Jou Desu ga, Zangyou wa Iyananode Boss o Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu (I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time). The video confirms that the anime will premiere in January 2025 instead of 2024, as previously announced.

Nagasawa Tsuyoshi (Clockwork Planet, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san) is directing the anime at CloverWorks studio, and the anime will star Takahashi Rei as Alina Clover and Kumagai Kentarou as Jade Scade.
The anime is based on Kousaka Mato’s light novel series. Kadokawa’s Dengiki Bunko published Kousaka’s first novel with illustrations by Gaou (Tsuihousha Shokudou e Youkoso!, Nido Tensei Shita Shounen wa S-Rank Boukensha to Shite Heion ni Sugosu, Hikyou-shada to Yuusha Party o Tsuihou Sareta node) in March 2021 and the seventh novel in June 2023. The series’ eighth novel will be released on August 9th, 2024.
Yuuki Suzu adapted the novels into a manga in August 2021. The manga was serialized in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Maoh Magazine, and Kadokawa released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2022 and the fourth volume in February 2024.
