Kadokawa has released the teaser video and teaser visual for the second season of the TV anime Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) and confirmed that the anime will premiere in January 2025.

The anime’s first season premiered in July 2023, and all 12 episodes were streamed worldwide on NetflixKojima Masayuki and Kubota Takehiro, who directed the first season, will direct the second season at Kinema Citrus studio, and it will also be streamed on Netflix in January 2025.

The show is based on the Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage) light novel series by Agitogi Akumi and Tsukioka Tsukiho. Kadokawa published the first novel written by Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukioka in January 2019 and the eighth novel in March 2024.

Kohsaka Rito adapted the novels into a manga on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website, and Square Enix released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2019 and the fifth volume in July 2024.

The novel series was also adapted into a live-action film, which premiered in Japan in March 2023 and was ranked No. 1 in its opening weekend.
