Minato Mirai (Masamune-kun no Revenge, Sasaki to P-chan, Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu) directed the anime’s first season at SILVER LINK studio. It premiered in April 2024, and the 27th and final episode aired on October 6th, 2024.

The anime is based on the Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen manga series by Gondaira Hitsuju (Poro no Ryuugakuki). The manga was launched in August 2019 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and Shueisha released its first tankoubon volume in February 2020. Its most recent volume, number 26, was published on October 4th, 2024. Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service also releases the manga digitally in English.
