The Deadpool: Samurai manga by Kasama Sanshirou and Uesugi Hikaru will enter a hiatus, with a return date yet to be decided. The news was confirmed in the 20th chapter of the manga, which was released on October 10th, 2024, on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service and the authors’ Twitter account.

Kadama and Uesegi started the manga as a one-shot on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in October 2019; the manga then began regular serialization from December 2020 to June 2021 on the Shonen Jump+ service. The manga is now in its second season, which started in August 2024. Shueisha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2021, the second in July 2021, and the third volume will be published on December 4th, 2024.
