The official website for the TV anime Douse, Koishite Shimaunda (Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You), released its second promotional video, which confirms that the anime will premiere on January 9th, 2025.

The anime will debut on the TBS channel on January 9th and BS11 on January 12th. Crunchyroll will stream the show as it airs in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Yamamoto Junichi (Fuufu Ijou Koibito Miman, Otona no Bouguya-san) directs the anime at Typhoon Graphics Studio, and the anime stars:

- Yoshitaka Sion as Shin Kashiwagi
- Chiba Shouya as Airu Izumi
- Inomata Satoshi as Shuugo Hoshikawa

The anime is based on the Douse, Koishite Shimaunda manga by Mitsui Haruka. Mitsui (Hоukago, Koi Shita) started the manga in October 2020 in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, and Kodansha released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2021 and the ninth volume in August 2024. Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English under the name Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You, and it published the manga’s eighth volume digitally in July 2024.
Mizuha’s seventeenth birthday is the pits. Her parents totally forgot, and the senpai she likes isn’t interested in her. But when her longtime childhood friend asks her out, Mizuha has to sort out what this change could mean…and all in the middle of a global pandemic!
