Square Enix’s Manga UP! service has confirmed that it will publish the final chapter of the Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka (Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle) manga by Bobcat on February 8th, 2025. The manga is an adaptation of the Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka light novel series by Hiromu and raemz.
Bobcat started the manga adaptation in April 2020 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! service, and Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2020. The manga’s seventh volume was released in August 2024.
Hiromu started the original light novel series in 2019, and Shogakukan released the first novel with illustrations by raemz (Replica Datte, Koi o Suru) in June 2019 and the ninth novel in August 2024.
Yen Press releases the novel series and the manga adaptation in English under the title Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle. It released novel number 6.5 in September 2024 and the manga’s sixth volume in June 2024. Manga Up! Global also releases the manga digitally in English.
In August 2024, it was confirmed that the light novel series had been green-lit for a TV anime in 2025.
