Bandai Namco Filmworks has confirmed that the second season of the Tensei Shitara Dainana Ouji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) TV anime will premiere in July 2025. A new visual for the anime has also been released.
Tamamura Jin directed the anime’s first season at Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab studios. The first season premiered in April 2024, and all 12 episodes can be streamed on Crunchyroll.

The anime’s first-season cast and staff members will return for the second season. The anime stars:

The anime is based on the Tensei Shitara Dainana Ouji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) light novel series by Kenkyo na Circle.
Kenkyon na Circle started the light novel series in October 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website. Kodansha began publishing the novel series in July 2020 with illustrations by Meru, and it released the eighth novel in Japan in July 2024.
The light novel series inspired a manga of the same name by Kokuzawa Yousuke (Choujin Gakuen) in June 2020. The manga is published in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app. Kodansha published the first volume in November 2020, and the 18th volume will be released on February 7th, 2025.
Kodansha USA Publishing released the manga in English under the name I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability, and it will release the manga’s 14th volume on February 18th, 2025.
Prince Lloyd wasn’t always a prince…in fact, his previous life is one he remembers perfectly: he was a sorcerer of sorts.
