Pony Canyon has revealed the second promotional video and new key visual for the TV anime Uchuujin MuuMuu (Me and the Alien MuuMuu). It has also been confirmed that the anime will premiere on April 9th, 2025, on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels.

Takahashi Tomoya is directing the anime at OLM studio, and the anime will star:

Pony Canyon describes the story below:
A cat-like alien from a distant galaxy, MuuMuu, arrives on Earth. His goal is to learn about home appliance technology on Earth to recover the technology his species has lost. The protagonist, Sakurako, has a typical university life, but everything changes with MuuMuu’s arrival! What begins as an unexpected cohabitation quickly turns into a whirlwind of chaotic events. The chemistry between Sakurako and MuuMuu leads to a super-spectacular, appliance-filled, and cat comedy adventure.
The anime is an adaptation of the Uchuujin MuuMuu (Me and the Alien MuuMuu) manga by Miyashita Hiroki. Manga author Miyashita (Seigi Keikan Monju and the artist for Ninkyou Tensei) started the manga in June 2019 in Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours magazine, and Shonengahosha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2020. The manga’s seventh volume was released in May 2024, and the eighth volume will be published on April 30th, 2025.
