Square Enix’s G Fantasy magazine has confirmed that Toboso Yana’s Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) manga will return from hiatus in the magazine’s May 2025 issue, which will be available for sale on April 18th, 2025. The manga entered its hiatus in June 2024.

Toboso started the manga in 2006 in Square Enix’s G Fantasy magazine, and Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2007. The manga’s 34th volume was released in April 2024.

Yen Press and Square Enix’s MangaUp! website release the manga in English under the name Black Butler. Yen Press Published the manga’s 33rd volume in June 2024, and it describes the story below:

Earl Phantomhive is a giant in the world of commerce, Queen Victoria’s faithful servant . . . and a slip of a twelve-year-old boy. The Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) manga was adapted into an anime of the same name in 2008, and it has since received various anime sequels, spinoffs, and OVAs, as well as a live-action film. The newest TV anime adaptation titled Kuro Shitsuji: Midori no Majo Hen (Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc) will premiere on April 5th, 2025, on the Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV and Tochigi TV channels, and it will be streamed on ABEMA.
