Kadokawa has confirmed that Ma no Mono-tachi wa Kuwadateru (Demons Plan Something Good!) manga by Katou Takuji and Gashigashi has been green-lit for an anime adaptation.
Both Katou and Gashigashi have released illustrations in celebration of the news.
Katou started the story on their Twitter account in 2022 and began the serialisation of the manga with illustrations by Gashigashi in March 2023 in Kadokawa’s DraDra Sharp web manga service. Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2023 and the second volume in October 2024.
Yen Press has licensed the manga, and it will release the first volume in English under the name Demons Plan Something Good! on August 26th, 2025. Yen Press describes the manga’s story below:
