Bloodkin comics take place in the world of Elyezhan, a world without humans. Instead, the world is ruled by two sentient species: nourts and arkhel. Though they have their differences, in most places they coexist, working together to build ever greater civilizations. However, the people at the bottom are still at the bottom, and when wealth and comfort fails to trickle down to them, they have to find their own ways to survive.
