Yo, I was browsing through NamiComi earlier and ended up checking out Southstar. Honestly, the scale of this thing is wild. Kurohoshi Riko’s drive to become the strongest while navigating infinite realms, battling crazy Kronix Beasts, and literal Primordial Gods is such a massive, hype premise. It has that raw, high stakes battle shonen energy that makes you just want to keep reading.
I love how the story blends martial arts with these massive supernatural elements like the cults and monsters. Visually, a sequence like "Kōtetsu vs Everyone" or a clash with the Kronix Beasts would look insane on a manga page. Just picture a double page spread with heavy, dynamic line work showing Riko unleashing a massive attack, debris flying everywhere, and the absolute scale of a Primordial God towering in the background that kind of martial arts choreography paired with cosmic horror scale is built for visual adaptation.
