Excellent style, the punches hit hard when they come swinging, and the funny moments keep me laughing every time I come back (and I come back to reread a ton lmao) Keep going, Saba!!!
This is a very well-made comic with a charming, clean style, and the narrative is generous in that it doesn't require prior knowledge of Final Fantasy XIV to enjoy it (contextual information is provided through the characters, so people who aren't familiarized with the setting/source can enjoy it without being overwhelmed and treat it as a standalone fantasy fiction!)
While there is the main plot, this work also focuses on the development of several characters throughout the story, and it's always interesting to see their personal struggles and reasoning. If you love fantasy settings and character-focused stories, I suggest reading this!
This is bar none my favorite FFXIV fan comic out there. I love how it envisions the MSQ and the world of Eorzea with its own flavor and expansion on the lore and events. So, so, SO GOOD
One of, if not the greatest piece of FFXIV fan content there is. Not only does it show a deep love and understanding of the game and the world within, but also the same love for the characters the author and their friends created in the story. It embraces the darkness in Eorzea in a way that most fan content doesn't; it's depictions of black magic and conjury especially great examples of what the game tells us, but doesn't really get to show us very often. The latter half of the story as of the time of writing this revels in showing us how dangerous and messy love can be. It brings those heart clenching moments that had me at the edge of my seat with my fist in my mouth wondering what would happen at the next page turn. Well worth a read, and a reread. I excitedly await for future updates.
