In a world filled with man-eating monsters, humanity has survived for centuries with some who can use the power to summon mythical bladed weapons to fight against them. After evacuating a village from an attack from those monsters, Aria goes back to rescue the father of a little girl but suddenly stumbles upon a familiar person from her past.
