The whole concept of a reaper desperately searching for a way to cheat death and save the love of her life is a crazy good hook. It has this incredibly dark, romantic weight to it, and throwing ghosts, vampires, and heavy magic into the mix makes the world feel massive and dangerous right off the bat. Honestly, the visual potential here is insane. Picturing a reaper character someone who is literally the embodiment of death having to face down other supernatural horrors, vampires, and her own despair just to stop a soul from slipping away? That contrast of grim, bloody action panels matched with raw, desperate emotional close ups would look absolutely stellar in a dark fantasy manga style. The sheer grit and gothic energy of her journey deserve to be seen, not just read.
