A good slow burn that makes you wanna yell at your screen for them to just kiss already. The characters get more and more dimensions as you go through the chapters
What excellent art! Good lord, it has so much subtlety and detail. It's so expressive. I am so blessed to be reading this. I got in at basically the best time for the story, the excitement waiting for the next chapter (after "Turning Point") is big!
The character dynamics feel so meaningful and natural, and again - did I mention the art? What a joy to just go back through these and enjoy the many faces little details of character outfits.
The world is also so wonderfully realized? It's so awesome how there's clear shortcomings in terms of understanding between characters at times, situations of feeling like, "Oh, how would I even navigate that?" or a simple "oof. . . "
The story itself also shows the characters in scenarios where you kind of think, "Oh, this isn't just a visual-only thing, there's real thought put into how these differences impact people in small and everyday ways." Such as like, yeah, how is this character exactly going to put on headphones given her ears being how they are?
It's so damn cute. And I really like the main character, he seems really thoughtful and genuine. The love that's being developed also just feels really natural and well executed on. It feels like nothing in this is hamfisted, it's just artfully crafted.
If you like romance then the story so far is an absolute treat that I hope you won't miss out on.
