Set in an alternate history Honolulu, Hawaii mainly in the Japantown District, the plot follows Mayo Okuyama, a samurai who works as a freelancer in his self-established store “Zatsueki,” alongside his friends Trunks Kataoka and Naoe Asahina. Together, they take on odd and sometimes deadly jobs, all of which are intertwined into larger story arcs.
