King Mickael Cinder once ruled over the kingdom of Polaris, an expanding would-be empire. Now a ruined city, taken over by deamons and monsters. Mickael has failed his kingdom, and so it is his duty to slaughter the deamons and bring salvation to their victims, even when his own is forfeited.
