Yo Daika_Tana! I was scrolling through Namicomi and the premise for Mirror Tunnel completely grabbed me. That intro about the struggle of self discovery how people try to bury who they really are just to become "another tree in the forest" is so incredibly raw. It's rare to see a psychological fantasy that dives straight into that kind of heavy, real world emotional suppression right off the bat. Honestly, the whole concept of literally staring into a "mirror" to confront the buried, messy parts of your own soul is just begging for some high contrast, moody manga panels. I keep picturing how intense it would look visually using heavy ink shadows, shattered glass reflections, and distorted, surreal imagery to capture that feeling of a person's inner identity cracking open. It’s the exact kind of story where the art can do a lot of the heavy lifting to show that internal struggle without needing a wall of text.
