Yo! I was just browsing NamiComi and came across Galactic Dragoon Reina Pilot. Honestly, the world building is just wild. The idea of a far future galaxy that’s gone through so many apocalypses it looped back to the stone age and rebuilt itself multiple times is such a cool, chaotic canvas. And hiring a badass dragoon for hire like Reina Leyline to guard… the safe of a small, family owned bakery? That is hilarious. It has that perfect, classic space opera meets lighthearted fantasy energy. The sheer comedy of Reina standing guard over pastries while preparing to fend off the notoriously awful Sylvie Gang is a sequence that’s absolutely begging for a dynamic comic or manga layout. I can already visualize a gorgeous, high energy panel sequence on one side you have a highly detailed, futuristic dragoon ready for war, and on the other, a completely incompetent, goofy gang plotting a bakery heist. Mixing sleek, high tech sci fi designs with goofy character expressions and cozy bakery backgrounds would create such a fun visual contrast.
