It's a cold night in late spring when a youngling and his hench-badger-men rob the carriage of a lonely merchant. Inside isn't just an assortment of valuable wares, but rather... somebody. It takes the youngling back to what happened before there was spring, and winter, and he was somewhere else entirely.
