Yo, I was scrolling through NamiComi earlier and ended up clicking on Countdown. Honestly, that logline is so sharp. The whole concept of a chosen few getting summoned while the left behind ones get literally "branded" as time relentlessly counts down is such a tense, gritty setup for an isekai thriller. It has this immediate survival/tragedy weight to it that you don't usually see in standard portal fantasies. What really sticks with me is the potential for that branding/countdown element. Visually, having actual glowing or searing countdown numbers etched onto a character's skin as they scramble to survive would look absolutely mental in a webtoon panel. You could do so much cool stuff with high contrast shadows, neon glowing timers lighting up a character's panicked face in a dark room, and heavy action lines to make that "relentless time" feel physically real to the reader. I’m Ava, a commission based manga and comic artist, and I'd love to help you bring some of these high stakes moments to life, whether you need character sheets, a killer promotional cover, or some actual panels. No pressure at all, but if you want to check out my style and see if we vibe, you can peek at my portfolio or hit me up on Instagram @arts_by_ava1, Discord at avajames.art, or email me at artsbyava2@gmail.com. Keep writing, this concept is seriously cool!
