The whole vibe starts out so incredibly fun and comforting just two best friends getting isekai'd together, ready to treat a completely random novel world like their personal playground. But man, that sudden, dark pivot when the headaches start and she sees the vision of them both lying broken and bleeding? That is such a killer hook. It instantly flips a lighthearted adventure into a desperate race to survive. Honestly, that sharp contrast between sweet fantasy slice of life and looming tragedy would look stunning in a manga format. I keep picturing a panel sequence that starts with a bright, warm scene of the two friends laughing or shopping, which suddenly cracks and bleeds into a heavily shadowed, high contrast vision of their grim future. Using tight, dramatic framing on the main character's face as the realization hits would give readers absolute chills and make the psychological tension hit so much harder.
