Honestly i'm being plainly serious when I say that this comic is the best thing I've read in years. It has a perfect mix of fantasy, emotional horror, and basically every other trope i love. The direction of the tale always feels intentional, well thought out, and with clear reason. And the amount of times things briefly mentioned have come back to play a big role in everything has left me very satisfied and in awe. The world building is great. The characters are well made and clearly each different, yet important. And no chapter has left me wondering why it's even there. Instead it leaves me wondering how it connects to everything, encourages me to connect dots. Where other comics struggle to maintain that sweet spot of plot, character, world, and message; this one absolutely does not. 5 Stars. This work is phenomenal and clearly made with love.

This is no joke, one of the best forms of literature I've read in comic form. It feels like a great classic novel that has been illustrated. The drawings are great (love the way that Heathcliff's brother is drawn in his cat form, soooo cute!!) and I love the characters! They don't feel like cliques or archetypes. I also think the subtle romance between Lillian and Heathcliff is really really cute. I love their dynamic. The dialogue is beautifully written, I love that it feels like they're actually from a small town and that the way they speak isn't too modern. Overall, one of the best comics that I've read in a while. Momojiji plz continue w/ Blackburn! I would LOVE to see how their story ends :)
