Following the violent impact of a meteor on his space station, John is hurled into the vast, emptiness of space, with no hope of rescue. Isolated and drifting without direction, he clings to his sanity by turning his research equipment into a makeshift pirate radio station - until he picks up a mysterious radio transmission that suggests he might not be alone after all.
