The official Twitter account for the TV anime Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi (Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!) confirmed this week that the anime will premiere on Japanese TV on January 6th, 2025, on the Tokyo MX, BS11 and AT-X channels. The anime will begin streaming exclusively on the d Anime Store and ABEMA streaming services starting on January 1st, 2025.

Fukuda Michio (Failure Frame) is directing the anime at GEEK TOYS and CompTown studios. The anime will star Ono Yuuki as Dennosuke Uchimura, Kohara Konomi as Ulmandra, and Outsuka Akio as the Demon King.
The anime is based on Benigashira and Muramitsu’s Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi manga. Benigashira and Muramitsu started the manga in December 2019 in Overlap’s Comic Gardo, and Overlap released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2020. The latest volume, number nine, was published in July 2024. The manga is an adaptation of Benigashira’s earlier manga, which they drew and released digitally. The manga runs parallel to the new version by Benigashira and Muramitsu.
Dennosuke Uchimura is just an ordinary Japanese salaryman until he’s sent to work in Vietnam, where he dies in a hit-and-run accident. Uchimura is reincarnated and summoned to another world by the Demon King, who offers him a new job–as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of his army!
