The fifth and final tankoubon volume of the Isshou Watashi no Joshu de Ite! (一生わたしの助手でいて！) manga by Hitotose Hirune will be released on October 17th, 2025.
Hitotose began publishing the romance comedy manga in October 2024 on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website, and the manga concluded in August 2025. Kodansha published the manga’s first volume in December 2024 and the fourth volume in July 2025.
The story follows Tasuku Mitomo, who, due to his natural tendency to assist others, has always lived in the shadows. To break out of this, he made it his life’s mission to become the number one detective. However, at his new high school, he encounters three detective girls, who happen to be his rivals from elementary school. Thus begins Tasuku’s fierce battle for the top detective spot! But these girls seem to harbour passionate feelings of a different kind towards him.
