The official website for the Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. (おじさんはカワイイものがお好き。) TV anime has revealed a new key visual and confirmed that the anime will premiere on October 4th, 2026, on the Tokyo MX channel at 10:00 p.m.
Makino Tomoe is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS, and the anime will star:

- Tomita Miyu as Pugtaro
- Izumi Fuuka as Bosskichi
- Funato Yurie as Anne
- Tano Asami as Carrie
- Satou Hinata as Greapy

The anime is based on the manga of the same name by Tsutomu, which began in July 2017 on Flex Comics’ Comic Polis service. Flex Comics published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2018. The manga’s 12th volume will be released on August 7th, 2026, and the 13th and final volume is scheduled for release on October 15th, 2026.
The story follows Mitsutaka Oji, a 40-year-old man who, by all appearances, is attractive and cool and excellent at his job. However, he has a secret: he absolutely loves small and cute things.
